31 weeks

Weight: +15 on the Publix scale. Maybe weighing myself in public will help motivate me to not gain so much.
Maternity clothes: Yes, even dresses are limited to a few that actually fit and don’t make me look like a tent.
Sleep: Zero abs make moving while laying down tough, and I usually get up once to pee. But overall, sleep is still great.
Best moment: Taking Beau to Chuck E. Cheese’s for the first time. We think he had fun, but he hardly cracked a smile the whole time we were there… He just stared.
Missing: Nothing. Life is good!
Loving: Having a healthy pregnancy. Also, hanging out with Beau. It’s funny how 1 baby can seem difficult, but I know that I’m going to look back and laugh at myself for thinking that once I have 2.
Movement: All of the time. Mostly pushes, and some kicks very low, making me think she’s probably still breech.
Cravings: Grapefruit. And sweeter things, obviously, although maybe not as intensely as before?! A miracle!
I feel a little off if my stomach is empty. Also, pickier with food… Mexican doesn’t sound good again, and I hate most leftovers.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, especially in the evenings. Being unable to breathe when I bend over.. already looking forward to treating myself to a pedicure before she’s born. Also, I get physically tired much easier; I hate asking for help buttt luckily Johnny is the best and will help me when I need it.
Looking forward to: Doctor appointment in a week, I’m so curious of her positioning and want to know what the plan is if she doesn’t flip on her own. Also, possibly getting a babysitter and going out to dinner on Cinco de Mayo… wondering if I’ll get laughed at if I order a virgin margarita?
Dad’s thoughts: “Mama keeps getting Braxton Hicks which must mean we are getting close! We had a lot of fun bringing Beau to Chuck E. Cheese’s for the first time!”

IMG_2107.jpgVery offended by my idea to put paint in a bag so he could have fun squishing it around

His face the entire time at Chuck E. Cheese’s

Having fun… maybe… a little bit?
